So well done. So so good. It was an honor to get to be a small part of the process of watching you create it and finally putting it up. I feel privileged to get to see it every day that I walk into school.

Absolutely stunning! I am reminded of Bob Dylan who thought that Hendrix's version of All Along the Watchtower actually exceeded his own. If it is possible for a work of art to exceed the original work that inspired it, then you have done it!

Well done phnil. There's something that gives me the shivers about the way the light highlights the texture in the last pic, and how that texture really heightens the sense of fluid motion. For some reason it reminds me of Holst's The Planets or Stravinsky's rite of Spring. I think there's something really primal in the simplicity of the scene that really evokes the joy of creation.

YEAH!
phil, when i first entered our school, your artwork was on the walls of the classroom. and now your permanent contribution all will see as they enter. words run short, my friend. you are a great artist, in paint/ink and life. thank you for sharing your soul with so many.
